Welcome, artlessly inclined!

Rob's Amateur Hour - Art Gallery

Indulge me for a moment. This isn't all of it - but it's a lot of it, in no particular order. It's both digital and analog in nature. One day I'll scan the whole analog collection...or maybe not! Anyway, it includes the oils, the pencil sketches, the watercolours (mostly from the mid 70s to late 90s) plus digital 'photoshopped' art since about 2000. With regard to the analog art, image 004 (see the table at the bottom) is the latest painting - circa 2003. I have also included pen and pencil sketches of my daughters Emma and Olivia (images 024 and 025) plus a small number of other drawings and a watercolour. You can see that many of the paintings remain undetailed (005 is an example - the hungry cyclist is Tour de France winner Greg Lemond and he's not eating his directeur's hand, rather the hand holds a sandwich that I haven't finished - and may never finish) - well that's because they are mostly unfinished! BTW, Kamballa is a building at Parramatta, Sydney, NSW; names are not used to protect the innocent; the model in 022 was a professional life model and I'm sure she signed her life away when she agreed to pose for that life drawing class I did in about 1978. Enjoy. Or cry. Whatever!
